This was done in January of 2014.
Greetings, friends. Have another picture.
I’ve only ever drawn ImmortalShipping once before. It’s my main pairing and I’ve only drawn it once. That’s messed up D:
So since I’m on an art spree, I thought I’d try it again. I still have leftover EEEEHHHH feelings from the comic, so I wanted to do something kinda sad, but also symbolic because backgrounds XP To be honest, I did it so I could have a symbolic background of my pairing for my laptop *shot*
Generally, this is supposed to represent Kel and Bakura on opposite sides of a war. While Kel has sympathies for certain members of the "dark" side and struggles with her relationship with her dad, in the end, she will choose the "light" side if it means saving lives, but she won't hesitate to protect her friends on the dark side. Still, she stands on the good side of the war, while Bakura struggles with his desire for revenge versus his love for Kel. (In the end, he chooses to fight against Zorc and Akhenaden, which earns him Ra's respect, and then he's granted a mortal body so he can live with Kel.)
Duplicating Kel’s shirt was a pain.
Bakura’s hair looks funny to me, but it’s colored in my style, so that might be why.
Kel’s hair still looks a bit odd, but alskdjflaskjf
The extended arms look terrible. I know, I’m sorry.
Just so you know, Kel has a white layer over her and her background, and ‘Kura has the same but black, so that’s why the colors might seem off to you.
What I was trying to improve:
Hands
Hair
Expressions
Height/Body differences between people
Dunno if I succeeded, but I was trying.
Anyway, let me know what you think. Critiques are welcome ‘cause I’m still improving.
